Vet-ly started as an internal tool inside our own veterinary practice. We were tired of paper binders, missed tasks, and guessing what got done. So we built the system we wished we had — and opened it up to other clinics.

HelloVet is a Jacksonville, Florida veterinary practice co-founded by Dr. Erika Pitkat and Frank Pitkat. We're a fear-free, mobile-first clinic that brings stress-free care directly to pets in the comfort of their own homes.

Why we built Vet-ly
Running a clinic means juggling end-of-day cleaning, controlled-drug logs, surgery prep, restocks, vaccine protocols, and a hundred other recurring tasks. We were losing 45 minutes every day just figuring out what got done — and what didn't.
Paper binders went missing. Spreadsheets got stale. Staff did their best, but accountability lived in someone's head. We tried generic checklist apps — none of them understood how a veterinary clinic actually runs.
So we built Vet-ly. A digital binder for SOPs and recurring tasks, designed by people who do this work every day.

Frank Pitkat
Co-Founder · HelloVet & Vet-ly
Frank co-founded HelloVet alongside Erika and helps run the clinic's day-to-day operations. He also builds and runs Vet-ly, so every feature gets pressure-tested in a working clinic before it ships to anyone else.
